Welcome to the dark city. Don’t mind the long shadows, the overcast skies or the creeping dread that befalls you as you pass a dark alley – they’re just reminders that the world’s not the safe place people would like it to be.

You travel the long streets and winding alleys of the street ignoring passers-by and they ignore you. It’s safer that way.

Thing is, you’re so much more wary now than you used to be. Used to be that the shadows didn’t seem to hold dark spirits and conspiracies that haunt your every move. Used to be that you didn’t know about what really goes on beneath the thin veneer of consensus life.

Now you’ve been shown it, you can’t just walk away – because it won’t let you. You can’t escape the dark secrets of the world now that you’ve seen a taste. It’s too late for you, but it’s not too late for them. You might be able to help others. Stop them from seeing what you’ve seen. Or maybe you want to delve into the darkness and see what you can find...
