Just wanted to know if Black Lion would take privately published book for sale?
This is my firts book and I have already sales channel in Finland but UK is abit more challenging as there is only big chains who dominate the markets.
Or does anyone have info about small indie book shops?

Hi Guys,
Hate to say this but
I'm sorry that I won't be able to make the party next Sunday.
I had booked my day off to cover it but I'm down for working now and only have a half day's holidays left, so won't be there I'm afraid
But you could save me a piece of cake:.)

Sorry to hear you won't make it along Alan but we understand that these things happen. Real life has a knack for getting in the way of gaming fun :-)
And we'll see what we can do about the cake...

I am your gaming god, in my temple of Geek.
Well, I managed to get a half day on Sunday, so should get there after all
hooray
Thanks for the invite and congrats - I didn't realise you were that old! Though I'm maybe one of the few to remember before you moved to Buccleuch St.
I will try to make it along to the party, if only for the cake! Since it's your birthday and Liam has said it's one of his favourite I could bring along the old Avalon Hill version of History of the World - which I think is the best of the four versions published so far. Maybe hard to fit in time for a game of HotW with all the other things on though?
OK - another birthday present then - a heads up on what looks like a good game for a HotW fan but which hasn't even been published yet! History of the Roman Empire looks like HotW with a Roman theme but the main twist being that you get to play not only sucessive Roman Emperors but also various barbarian hordes. Lots more details including full rules are, where else, on BGG http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/17382
Happy Birthday!
To think, I was there when Black Lion was born, as a hare-brained plan from Liam and Simon when we were all staying at Antigua street!
It's come a long way since the first pile of boxes in the basement of flip :)
I'm hoping Victoria and I will be able to pop into the party in the mid afternoon.
Yep, I have to admit I do remember
the basement at Flip, I don't recall if I actually bought anything out of there or not but I do remember Liam and Simon
working hard (I seem to have drifted in and out of the gaming life pretty often over the last ten years or so:.)
Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks for the smashing party (especially the jelly and icecream:.)
It was a great day and I was kinda touched to see Liam almost crying when he gave his speech
Well done guys and here's to another ten years!!
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it along but I will try and pop into the shop on the 4th when I'm in town.
Congrats!
