Hey so i didn't know where to put this but for those that are interested here is what GEAS is planning for Fresher's Week.
First of all I'd hope you all had a lovely summer. Now onto the business in hand. Next month is the beginning of term and once again GEAS will be involved in fresher's week. This year GEAS will be running the usual "Introduction to Roleplaying" event. So here are a few things to bear in mind.
It takes place on Sunday 21/09/2008
It is split into two sessions, the first will run from 1pm untill 5 pm, the second will run from 6pm to 10pm
There shall be no campaigns run at this session - this is an event for new members and people who have never roleplayed before
The games should be one off scenarios that last about 4 hours
If any GM wishes to submit a plot synopsis before hand they can do, email it to me

We also need people to man, or woman, the GEAS stall for freshers fair. Here is what you need to know for this.
It will take place on Wednesday and Thursday the 17th and 18th of September
It runs from 10am untill 4pm
We will split this into two shifts, morning 9.30am untill 12.30pm and afternoon 12.30pm untill 4pm.
We will require people to be there for 9.30am for setting up if you are doing the morning shift.
You will need to explain what the society is, what we do, what is happening for fresher's week regarding GEAS and any other questions fresher's may have about GEAS.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday 16th of September fro the volunteers to makes sure we all know what is going to happen.
Anyone wishing to volunteer please email me back by Tuesday the 16th of September.
If you want to help but don't want to do a full shift then this is great too, we would still like you to help.
Okay that about covers what you guys have to do for freshers week.
Now onto other business.
On Monday the 15th of September GEAS will be meeting in the Pleasance for a get together. This will jsut be an informal pub night where we can meet up after the summer break up. Please come along from 7pm onwards.
GEAS will be starting a regular pub night after every Sunday session. We will head to the library bar in teviot from 10pm onwards so please come along to that for a chance to socialise within the society.
Lastly, the GEAS website and email address will be temporarily shut down untill a new one can be designed so please keep this in mind and direct all emails to me for the time being.
