ORC seeks Venue

Heya folks, just thought I would mention that, with the closure of the 3 Tuns, ORC are looking for another venue in town. The criteria are (correct me if I'm wrong guys):
1. Takes underagers
2. Open from 12pm til 6 or 7 pm on a Saturday
3. Free (you want to be responsible for taking these kids' pocket money?)
4. Preferably easy walking distance from Caffe Nero on Rose Street
ORC is still an active society, the issue was with the rent being levied on the Tuns, which quintupled all of a sudden. Honestly.

Cheers for the post. Just to clarify we're still gaming every week in Caffe Nero on Rose Street.
I was planning on doing something soon but well you now my current "condition".
Anyway, size wise the space would need to be able to accomodate 4 games worth of people minimum. By that I mean roughly 25 people minimum...
Oh and we game from 1pm to 5pm every Saturday so 12pm to 6pm would be fine.

I would suggest speaking with the kind folks at the RAF club to see if ORC can go back there again, I am sure that they will be more than willing as long as the guys follow the conditions they put down before.
I am on the committee of ELG and more than willing to speak to them on your behalf Dave as ORC is growing pretty fast now.

If my memory serves me correctly we've never gamed at the RAF club. You might be confusing it with the Royal Engineers' Club where we gamed prior to the Tuns and we've been in contact with them again but they're not interested in having us back.
If the RAF will have us and meet the criteria above then I'm certain that the ORCers will follow whatever guidelines are put down for us.
I just want to add though that if a venue option becomes available and it doesn't meet the criteria OR is no better than Nero then we will likely decline that venue and remain in Nero. Might seem a bit rich but although beggars can't be choosers we're not begging yet...
