Gah, bloody 4th year stuff...

I need to know what I'm doing for my dissertation soon and I have no ideas...

Any ideas for combining roleplaying and computing? In a non-video game way?

Ho w about one to stuff up the noses of all the anti roleplayers out there

You could investigat e the corrolation between role playing and succesful achievement within the programming environment, what skills does a role player possess and thus bring to the world of programming that a non roleplayer does not, are there inherent factors that roleplayers possess that non roleplayers do not, I guess you could interview a variety of folks both RPG's and "norms" and compare the results, I dont know but it seems a feasible proposition to me

alternatively, you could investigate what role roleplaying played in the formulation of the original world wide web system as created by the US military (to spread out systems in case of nuclear attack) I am sure they "roleplayed" through the possible scenarios and thus formulated a template for the eventual creation of the system

I wasn't actually expecting serious responses...

And though I hate to say it, they sound far too wordy for my likes...
