Is anyone in Edinburgh playing RuneQuest (Mongoose or otherwise?)
At ORC I'm not sure but no harm in posting on our forums to see. I notice that you've signed up to the website so feel free to post about Runequest and M&M.

No one is running/playing Runequest at ORC as far as I am aware. Marc @ Black Lion however does know the system very well indeed if memory serves so he might be able to help you.
