My sleep pattern has flipped. It seems to like going to sleep at 5am and waking up in the afternoon.
Generally during holidays I don't mind this.
However... what with me needing to be up by 8 in the morning from Friday, this presents a problem...
Hell, it presents a problem anyway since I like doing stuff during the day...
Don't know why it's like this... I mean last week, I was on a perfectly normal 3am-10pm sleeping cycle...
*looks up* I suppose I can see how people say I abuse ellipses now... Ah well.
You know, I reckon if I expanded this out a bit, maybe added a bit of a rant, this could be a semi-decent column. Or at least a blog entry...
But then I'd have to find something to rant about... because there's nothing really worth expanding upon up there, is there?
It's not like I can rant about the problems with my Nationals scenario, because I can't really go in depth until after this weekend.
Of course, I could just rant about the playtesters who decided to back out of the playtest sessions I had organised. I originally had enough players to do 2 almost-full games. Now I might have enough for 2 4-player games. Some of them were fair enough - they'd already committed to something else - they even warned me that they might have. But, what you going to do?
I mean, apart from beat them over the head with sticks...
Though talk of gaming does bring me back to the shop and how I've managed to pick up two more systems than I originally intended over the last week and a bit. Picking up Exalted was fair enough (my excuse is that I already had a sourcebook, so I may as well get the rules... though if I'm not careful I'll end up with D&D on the same premise...), but I hadn't been intending on picking up Edge of Midnight. Though I'm glad I did.
Edge of Midnight looks like a fantastic game. (I'm only up to the magic system so far.) I saw it in the shop and started reading the intro. I was hooked before I knew it. I kinda figured I should be buying it when I'd started reading about the dice system in the first chapter.
*looks up again* I know this is supposed to be an off-topic forum, but are you supposed to off-topic within the post?
Maybe I should just go back to writing up handouts and watching anime...
