Looking for guidance on a deck...

Jeez, has it been a week already?! Seems like just yesterday I was successfully suiciding my Shaman off that Paladin deck...

ANYway, been thinking about an Elindrel weapon-based deck, just need to pull together the cards for it (looking on eBay mostly) and get some thoughts about how it might work out.

I'll give you the deck list I have thrown together at the moment to look through, see if anyone can come up with some good ideas for it :D

14 Ability Cards:
3x Aspect of the Hawk
4x Multi-Shot
4x Rapid Fire
3x Sneak

11 Ally Cards:
2x Crazy Igvand
4x Galway Steamwhistle
4x Ryn Dreamstrider
1x Tristan Rapidstrike

22 Equipment Cards:
3x Deathdealer Breastplate
3x Edgemaster's Handguards
3x Eye of Rend
1x Herod's Shoulder
4x Masons Fraternity Ring
4x Ancient Bone Bow
4x Wraith Scythe

13 Quests:
4x Big Game Hunter
1x Blueleaf Tubers
2x It's a Secret to Everybody
3x Sunken Treasure
3x Your Fortune Awaits You

Not exactly fine-tuned, but the basics are there. The idea being to build up enough steam to whollop the opponent with 8 - 17* damage a few times in a single turn (or over a few turns). Esentially looking to punch through that Brickadin's defences and take him down in one fel swoop. Wraith Sythe is in there in order to heal myself each time I attack with the ABB/deffend with WS. Which I would be looking to do as often as possible even if I don't get to make a huge play and get a short, sharp KO.

Anyway, pick holes in this and help me refine my plan :D

*that 17 damage figure is based on flip power, all +ATK gear, and all 4 Ryn Dreamstriders activating at the same time. Not likely to happen but it would be funny if it did happen (que cigar and "I love it when a plan comes together")

some comments:-

Why the single Tristan Rapidstrike? I'd rather play multiples of him than Igvand.

I'm not a fan of Sneak. Aimed Shot is better (if you can get your hands on it, I can loan you two for Sunday). I could also loan you 2* Eskhandar's Collar (+1 attack for you -1 attack for their hero) or 1* Skibi's Pendant (-1 to strike with weapons, brutal if you get both it and the gauntlets out with Rapid Fire ^^)

I knew I had forgoten something... Skibi's Pendant! Rapid Fire with a 0 swing cost weapon looks VERY dangerous >:)

Tristan and sneak are basically in for the same reason: Protect Galway. Sneak is 1 cost, Tristan 4. Tristan has the advantage of dealing 3 damage back to whoever attacks Galway, but Sneak allows me to keep more options open during my oponent's turn. Might be worth cutting Igvand in favour of Tristan though... :)

Multi Shot I'm unsure of, but it just looks too useful to ditch (like Chain Lightening for a Shaman: might not get many good chances to use it, but when they come up it's fanatastic fun).

Not a fan of Aimed Shot in this instance. Given that so much of my deck is given over to making my weapon attacks stronger it seems a waste to then go and spend all those resources on a single big damage ability. Might make an interesting side board option though? But I've not really though to much about that yet.

I feel I'm a bit light on quests (only 13 in that deck) so had a rethink and got to this:

13 Abilities:
2x Aspect of the Hawk
4x Multi-Shot
4x Rapid Fire
3x Sneak

10 Allies:
3x Galway Steamwhistle
4x Ryn Dreamstrider
3x Tristan Rapidstrike

21 Equipment:
3x Deathdealer Breastplate
3x Edgemaster's Handguards
2x Eye of Rend
1x Herod's Shoulder
4x Masons Fraternity Ring
3x Skibi's Pendant
3x Ancient Bone Bow
2x Wraith Scythe

16 Quests:
4x Big Game Hunter
1x Blueleaf Tubers
2x Kibler's Exotic Pets
3x Sunken Treasure
4x Your Fortune Awaits You
2x Zapped Giants

Lowered some of the proportions of cards in there (most noticably, down to 5 weapon cards from 8). Just clicked this morning that 60 is a minimum deck size, not sure if it is a maximum too for constructed(?), might be worth rejigging it a tiny bit over the 60 mark if I'm allowed to.

60 is a minimum, but not a maximum.

However, I wouldn't recommend going above 60. Your deck becomes more erratic the more cards you include.
