Aberrant Chronicle Starting

I'm starting an Aberrant campaign (ST system not the new D20 stuff) and I'm looking for players. I already have 2 and I need at least one more. Four in total would be ideal. The game will most likely be run weekly on either Friday or Saturday

For those of you that have never heard of Aberrant check Wikipedia or the White Wolf site.

It's a future history postmodern game about normal people that erupt with "superpowers" and the effects these superbeings, called Novas, had on the world for the past 10 years. the setting is sort of "DC COmics meet the X-Files" with multiples power groups, conspiracies, layers of deception and a looming dark future.

You can play any kind of "superheroic" character you wish. Assuming you have enough points or experience any superhero could be replicated in this game.

This isnt a 4-colour comic book genre superhero RPG like, say, Mutants & Masterminds. Its much grittier and realistic. Sure, some weirdos have secret identities and run around dressed in colourful suits of Eufiber with capes and all. But you only have to if you wish so. Most Novas are just trying either to live normal lives or cashing as much as the can out of their fantastic powers.

The 2 PCs so far are a James Bond wannabe media whore and the carbon copy of Edward Elric, the main character from The Full Metal Alchemist with metal limbs and all.

Yeah, it might sound weird but it works. The game setting and the rules allow for this and much more. You want to play a Superman-like PC. Go for it! Batman? Why not? Wolverine? Sure. A telekinetic telepath like Jean Grey? Presto! Maybe the Watchmen are more like your thing. No probs! Agent Mulder with laser beams shoting out of his eyes and Mental Domination? Heck, might work. Iron Man? Get that armour ready to go! Hiro Nakamura from the Heroes TV series "bendingo taimo ando spaisu"? Nothing could be easier. What to be the Master of Magnetism? Have incredible luck? Charisma and beauty to make you the envy of the Gods themselves? Lift 2 tons with your bare hands? be bullet-proof? Survive the cold vacuum of outer space? Be the most intelligent person in the planet?

Quite simply your imagination is the limit.

Become a Hero, a Legend, an Icon, a Marvel, a Portent or a Monster. Bask in the Light...Or Lurk in the Shadows. Join Project Utopia in building a better future for Mankind, or choose to destroy this old world, paving way for the creation of the new one.

Sell yoursell to wage war in third world countries for pure profit, or join the terraforming efforts in the Ethiopian highlands. Make millions with franchises using your image...
