Day one in the big broth... Er hospital.

Well, the letter they sent said "Call the hospital at 8:30 to check when you will be admitted this morning." so I did. They have no beds for me. They have no beds in the ward. They're having to wait for the bed manager to come round to tell them when they might have a bed. They promised to call back by 9:30. Its half past 10 now and still there's been no word. I feel that there must be some kind of cosmic joke going on and I am the butt (for want of a better pun) of it.

Oh well, at least my sense of humour hasn't improved :)
