Hi guys,
Greetings from the colonies. Just to let you all know that I am firmly ensconsed in the great white north, and have indeed found a very active Warmachine/Hordes group.
They have however expressed an interest in a campaign. As there are more than 4 players, the options in the books dont work so well. However, I was reminded of the wonderful and simple map campaign I was part of back in the day in a haunted Edinburgh Basement.
So really I have a question for Digby or Shevy, can you give me the run down of the map campaign mechanism you used? (The one where non-named unit leaders got experience etc.). I will of course make sure you get full credit for the system.
Thanks,
Oh, and merry xmas to all in Black Lion!

Thanks Shevy. I'll keep an eye out fot the new rules they're talking about, but the previous campaign rules are really only for 4 players. The map based one you guys (Digby, c'mon, where are you) was tops, and great for much more than 4 players.

fall down seven times, stand up eight.
Digby knows the exact dynamics of the map campaign; it was still in 'playtest' at the time it finished. However, I was looking around the WM forums the other day and I'm sure I saw the word League being bandied around for the new year. I'll go see what I can dig up. In the meanwhile I'll punt Digby this way for map campaign details.

EDIT: Yes, there are due to be new league rules in the next No Quarter, released January.
