Morgue's gone

Well thats it then. He's gone. This morning he finally left the city on his long journey back to the other side of the world.

For those of you who didn't know him, Morgan (or Morgue as he was know to many) was a driving figure in Edinburgh's Gaming community. While maybe not at the forefront of things and maybe not the most visible of figures always, he was there. In the background.

Morgue was the man responsible for setting up ORC and was instrumental in keeping it going for a long time. He featured heavily in what went on at GEAS and helped write one of the best and most intense freeforms that I've ever had the pleasure of playing in.

Every gamer that got to know Morgue was a fortunate person. An informed and informative gamer with a lot of big ideas and the will to do something with them he had a way of making you think beyond where you normally went with games. Everyone who played in his games came away better for it too from what I could see.

There's probably a whole lot more I could and should say here about him but I think that all that really needs said is that he'll be missed by us all.

To Morgue. All the best bud and I hope to see you again soon.
