1k Dreamblade Tournaments in Britain

Suffolk Sci-Fi is in IPSWICH, you should know that,not Edinburgh as posted above!

I am tempted but which one is the closest? The further away the location, flights or overnight stays would be needed. I am willing to drive to and from the nearest event if we can fill a car (max 5 people) and everyone chips in for petrol. I would hope to get there and back in the same day, so it would be an early start.

The closest I have ever come to this is Alton Towers and back in the same day. I was Knackered at the end of it but good fun it was. Please post here if you are interested in a crazy hell bound day trip of Dreamblade.

I have just phoned Fan Boy 3, the Manchester Tournament, and they have space for about 40 in their tournament with about 20 already signed up.

Does anyone still fancy going?

We would need to leave Edinburgh about 06:00 to give us enough time to get there and still have time for a break.

The competition is scheduled to start at 12 noon but we need to get there for 11:30 at the latest. The competition will finish at about 18:00 so I reckon we should get back to Edinburgh by about 22:00.

The only cost will be your Tournament entry (£10), money for food and a share of the petrol. I have space for 5 people (including me) and the more people would mean less per head for petrol.

I will ask again on Friday night, but I would appreciate feedback before then to gauge numbers/interest.
