Yes we're running another tournament for our Magic players and yes Liam has planned it and no I won't tell you what you'll be playing with but it will cost exactly £10.

Weekly open-play meeting: bring miniatures wargames, boardgames, CCGs, and an interest in sharing. (Over 18's.)

To celebrate Morningtide's release we're going to be running two tournaments side by side at the Victoria Park Hotel (Ferry road). There will be a Morningtide draft (£7.50) and a Theme deck challenge (£10). Sign up at the event for these is from 11am and play will start promptly at 12 noon. We're taking sign ups to ensure a spot on either of these events so drop us your name, DCI and which tournament if you're interested.

Not strictly an event but still noteworthy. As of Monday Febuary 4th, Black Lion Games will be closing at the slightly earlier time of 6pm every day. This will make our opening hours 10am-6pm Monday to Saturday.

The Lord of the Rings CCG and Casual play Magic all on one night at the shop. Casual Magic also has the added rewards of the Gateway tournament. Gateway gives you stamps on a card for every game you play, whether you win or lose, and once your card is full you get free Magic cards! Very simple, lots of fun. Bring along a deck of your own with cards from Time Spiral block onwards. Very good for new players.
