Weekly open-play meeting: bring miniatures wargames, boardgames, CCGs, and an interest in sharing. (Over 18's.)

Sanctioned constructed DCI tournament with DCI points and alternate paint mini's for the winners. Play is from 7pm so try and arrive a bit beforehand. Newbies and spectators always welcome. Theme band this week - bring along a 20 miniature warband and your opponent chooses which four of your mini's you don't play (Omen locusts count as one choice).

Free play Warmachine and Hordes in the Black Lion Basement all afternoon. The best times to get a game are 12noon and 3pm. Stunning scenery (for the game obviously, not within the basement itself) and friendly gamers plus a greasy cafe just down the road.

The Lord of the Rings CCG and Casual play Magic all on one night at the shop. Casual Magic also has the added rewards of the Gateway tournament. Gateway gives you stamps on a card for every game you play, whether you win or lose, and once your card is full you get free Magic cards! Very simple, lots of fun. Bring along a deck of your own with cards from Time Spiral block onwards. Very good for new players.

On Sunday 25th November at Black Lion Games we'll be running a VTES: Lords of the Night constructed Tournament. The tournament starts at 10am prompt and involves deck building from pre-cons and boosters and 3 rounds of 2 hours each. Price TBC. Let us know if you'd like to have your name put down to guarantee yourself a place.

Figureheads and Footnotes

Calling all Magic players! It's the return of the Black Lion Christmas and Hannukah tournament! This is the last Monday we'll be running Magic for the year so come along and take part in our special limited tournament. More details to be released so watch this space but we can promise prizes, wacky deck building and all round good fun!
